Since BT Sport appeared on the scene nine years ago, they have become one of the go-to packages for sports enthusiasts. Competing strongly with Sky, they offer a range of different channels and options, with one of their biggest pulls being that they are the home of European football, having exclusive rights to the Champions and Europa League.
While it’s not as expensive as Sky Sports, BT’s sports bundles are far from free. You might be wondering what your options are if you want to take advantage of it, but don’t want to spend any more than you need to. So, what are the cheapest ways to get BT Sport?
Those who are already BT customers will generally be able to get the best deals. This is because service providers want to get you using as many of their products as possible.
For those already signed up for broadband, for example, you can currently get all BT Sport channels at £8 a month for three months, going to £16 after that. However, the downside is that this comes with a 24-month contract, so it’s not going to work for some.
If you just want the sports without the commitment, then the BT Sport Pass is your best bet. While it is more expensive at £25 per month, it’s sold on a monthly rolling contract. This means you can quit wherever you want, preventing you from being stuck on a contract for a product you may not want down the line.
If you do go for the BT Sports Pass, it’s accessible via an app and gives you all the sports channels BT has to offer.
This one is only available to existing EE customers and gives you access to the BT Sports Pass on your mobile for £10 a month. This means that you can’t cast it onto anything bigger, however, so you’ll have to be happy for a small screen.
