h1>Do all gas engineers have to be CORGI registered?
Anyone employed to carry out gas installations, repairs or servicing must be registered with CORGI (Council for Registered Gas Installers).
- Non-registered installers are breaking the law.
- 93% of gas work carried out by non-registered installers has been found to have serious safety defects.
- Using a non-registered installer can also jeopardise the validity of your home insurance in the event of an accident caused by a faulty gas appliance.
For local registered installers, see the CORGI website.
