Green Energy UK was created to offer people who are concerned about the environment the chance to do something positive. They will also re-invest up to 50% of their profits back into new renewable electricity generation projects in the UK.

Green Energy UK is one of the few suppliers who will buy back any surplus electricity generated from home generation installations. Green Energy UK buy electricity from a range of non nuclear renewable British sources and sell it onto homes and businesses throughout the UK. 70% of their electricity comes from sites that began generating in the last 6 years therefore supporting small scale generation. There is a choice of tariffs available- green energy 100 which is 100% renewable electricity and green energy +10 which is 17% renewable.
